1997.1 ~ today	Carried out campaigns for food and commodities support for North Koreans 1) Campaigns for Food Support for North Koreans: Sending potatoes produced in Kangwon Province, South Korea, and maze and kaoliang crops produced in China (A total of 2,000 tons) 2) Campaign, “Sending Clothes to North Koreans with Love” (10. 1997) 3) Helping victims of frauds against ethnic Korean Chinese invited to Korea (6. 1997 ~ today) 4) Campaigns for sending fertilizers to North Korea (1999.4 ~ today)
1997.7	Petition campaign to collect 1 million signatures : Called for support of over 1 million tons of food and medical supplies for North Koreans at the government level
1999.5.6	Obtained the Ministry of Unification’s approval for ‘Good Friends Corporation”
1999.8.30	Released “Status Report on North Korean Food Refugees and Human Rights in North Korea” based on the field surveys in 2,479 villages in three northeast provinces of China
1999.10.15	Testified on the “Status of North Korean Refugees in China and the Actions taken by the Government of the Republic of Korea” during the parliamentary inspection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade by the Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee
2000.3.3	Launched the weekly class, "143 Consecutive Rounds of Dialogues to Prepare for a Reunified Future of Korea" every Friday
2000.6.1	Held the symposium, “Perceptions of Reunification among North and South Koreans”, based on a comparative survey of 1,027 North Korean food refugees in China and 500 South Koreans.
2000.6.29	Presented the outcomes of the survey, “North Korean Residents’ Perceptions and Attitudes towards the North Korean Society and Economy,” conducted based on the interviews with 1,027 North Korean refugees in China.
2000.7.2	Organised JTS Historical Travels for post-graduates, youths, middle school students and adults, starting with those for university students
2001.1	Organised “Cultural Visits to the Kyoung-ju City” for refugees from North Korea
2001.8	Organised the 8th JTS Historical Travels to Korea’s national holy mountain, Baekdu, the sites of ancient kingdoms of Goguryeo and Balhae, and historical sites of Korean independence movement against Japanese imperialism
2001.11	Held the policy symposium, “How to view the North Korean Refugees Issue”
2002.3	Participated in the Joint Council for Realisation of Veto on Military Service Based on Personal Conscience and Improvement of Alternative Military Service System. Promoted the initiative to date as a movement in solidarity with other NGOs. Launched a nation-wide campaign for reunification, “24-hour, 1,000-day Marathon Prayer for National Harmony and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula.”
2002.8	Organised the 9th JTS Historical Travels to Korea’s national holy mountain, Baekdu, the sites of ancient kingdoms of Goguryeo and Balhae, and historical sites of Korean independence movement against Japanese imperialism
